Father’s Day

Last month was Mother’s Day, this month we are celebrating Father’s Day!

At our home, we are not falling short of reasons to celebrate. Last week we celebrated my father’s birthday and this week it’s father’s day. We have meat in abundance, cake in abundance, merrymaking in abundance, joy in abundance and celebrations in abundance.

Hey, I am not complaining! 😉

Coming to my father ( as it’s his day today, it was his day last week as well and last month also as it’s my parents’ marriage anniversary – Nevermind. ), he is the sweetest person one can ask for as a father. He is not just our father, but also our friend and more so. I have seen memes all around that people are afraid if they see one missed call from their father, they get an anxiety attack…well, my father is just the opposite of it. We can miss a call, 100 calls from my father but can’t miss a single call of our mother..(oh no… that would be disastrous). My father is cool as a cucumber. We can laugh, fool around, joke with our father freely. He is a sweetheart.

Oh yes, I remember. There are memes saying that people get awkward while on phone with their father and after a silence, the father comes to the rescue and speaks of handing over the phone to the mother. Well, mostly it is true!!!

Yesterday, we read an article about the best dad based on their zodiac signs and voila, he is the best of them all. The descriptions given about a father similar to his zodiac matches word by word with him. I don’t much give head to zodiac predictions and all but this I have got to admit, they got it correct.

Well, I am tired after a hectic week and an eventful day and can’t seem to find good words to write here. Signing off. Conclusion I say, Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there and I love you Bapi to my father.
